Day 2 · Exploring Efate
Breakfast at the hotel. The stated 8:30 departure begins a guided day: Iarofa customary village, traditional fishing, hunting and food preservation, dancing and firewalking; a swim at Blue Lagoon. A possible Eton school visit is mentioned, with no guarantee. At Pang-Pang: fig and banyan trees, traditional plant uses and a collection of Second World War relics. The Melanesian buffet lunch described includes fish, chicken, rice, taro or yam and tropical fruit.
Day 3 · Port Vila → Tanna

Day 4 · Tanna and Yasur

The stated 14:00 departure for Yasur passes through the White Grass plains, free-roaming horses, coffee plantations and villages, then Mount Loanialu (552 m). The programme describes a welcome in the village below the volcano, songs, dances and customs, followed by a walk of about 15 minutes towards the crater. Return late in the evening. Dinner at your own arrangements, recommended to book before departure, and overnight at the hotel.
The Yasur excursion depends on weather, volcanic activity and access permissions. The source advises against it for children under 5; access rules, age and suitability must be checked with the agency. The route and walk described do not guarantee access to the crater.
